We are the outdoor content creation platform for the Ministry Misfits podcast, designed to provide entertaining Fishing, Kayaking, and outdoors content that is family-friendly, educational, accessible, and allows you and your family to find new and effective ways to get outdoors!

The Misfits Outdoors Broadcast!

Where we come from...

In 2024, the Ministry Misfit Andrew Fouts began to fish more regularly as a method of self-care. A Theologian, Sports Minister, and professional Content Creator, Andrew, also began to recognize that there were ways to get some fun and entertaining use from his time and searched for a way to do it.

In 2025, the Misfits Outdoors broadcast launched on Twitch and YouTube as part of the KFM Broadcasting, Overwhelming Victory, and Ministry Misfits Media families. Immediately, Andrew began noticing that this content needed its own space, and so the Outdoors TikTok, Youtube, and Social Media channels were launched. Andrew then recognized a new need from the community he was creating. Accessible and understandable fishing help.

The Same Mission, Different Medium

The Ministry Misfits podcast found its audience in 2021, after listeners found that the Misfits team was providing Theological insight and academic-level knowledge in an accessible way that had not previously been available. Now, Andrew is finding that same need here in the Fishing, Kayaking, and Outdoors world. There are plenty of apps and creators doing a lot of good work in this field, but the information provided is super technical, uses terms some have never heard, and the online communities are... rather rude about people asking questions, much of the time. We want to change that! We want to add, a voice to this area of content creation that will provide needed information for those beginning to enjoy Fishing, without causing more frustration and confusion.
